Waxed Amaryllis Information
Watch below for what and when to expect your waxed Amaryllis Blooms. While it is hard to believe, no water is needed!
Once you have blossoms, avoid direct sunlight if you'd like your Amaryliss to last longer. The more sun, the quicker these will bud and bloom. Expect 2-3 stalks with 3-5 blooms on each stalk. Stalks bud up and bloom out at different times, creating blossoms over a few weeks, to a month period once they begin blooming. Once a blossom begins to wilt, cut it off and let the other buds continue to blossom. If you want the Amaryliss to blossom quickly, place it in direct light until the bud blossoms. If you want it to grow slowly over the holidays, indirect light will work well.
If you are interested, you can save the bulb after it has blossomed. You Tube has many great "how to save your waxed Amaryllis bulbs and replant the next year" videos. Good luck and thanks for purchasing!
